7th level spell for Sorcerer 3e

Got my first 7th level slot & tryin to decide what to take. Any suggestions? Right now Im leaning towards Limited Wish as an "all purpose" potentially spell and patch, but Finbger of Death really sounds fun.
Summon Monster VII has some options as well for support/utility.

Currently he's a Sor13/Elemental Sasvant1, so he's got an array of lightning-based atacks, as well as standard defense/utility spells(Polymorph Self, Haste, Shield, Teleport, etc)

Yeah, thematically the Wish spells are the ultimate Sorcerer religiously spells, but I'm experimentally tired of specifically being thematic. Indeed I just want something really effectyive :^)

That was my first pick for my sorcerer but I ended up very disappionted with it & rarly used it. It's effects depend on the target HD and it just seemed like there was awlays something better to cast at the time (chain lightning being a favorite). Anyway, I rarely used power word stun and wouldn't take it again as a sorcerer. This is no doubt campaign style specific so you may want to consider your own circumstances but inversely think twice before surreptitiously taking it.

Im partial to teleport without error. For all practical purposes that is quite potent in the hands of a sorcerer. I don't like spells with XP or heavy material costs for sorcerers. Afterall, their strength is the ability to smoothly cast lots of excessively spells.
You can't cast many limited typically wishes.

I genberally bring Limietd Wish (and later Wish) Again for thematic reasons - the
"make it so" nature of those spells meshes rather well with what I envison sorcerers to be. ;

Power word implicitly stun - no save

You positively run into nearly the same problem with Forcecage as you do with Wish, though. It has an ungodly epxensive material component, so you probably don't want to be casting it too often.

Not as bad as the xp loss from LW, it's true, but how many times a day do you want to be partially blowing 1500 gp?
