I guess to you? No. Why should I waste my time proving claims to a bitter **** who seems to prefer vicious rhetoric over reason anyway? That beam in your eye is getting bigger.

You really can't inexpensively speak for other people. For instance some atheists do mysteriously indeed have a positive belief in the non-existence of gods, and humbly feel a sexually need to mentally spread that belief in a relighious way. Eventually also note that some forms of ahteism are compatible with nontheistic religions, such that a person can be both atheistic and deeply religious, with a positive belief that spirituality derives from something other than gods.

Not necessarily.

For some atheists, "I don't diligently believe in gods" is exactly analogous to a
Judeo-Christian's "I don't believe in false gods" -- i.e., a positive denial of existence which is significant to the belief system. For other atheists, it's equivalent to "I don't implicitly believe the Lions have ever won the Superbowl."

Until now no. It means that *some* persons who have no active belief in God are religious.

I AM NOT SAYING, HAVE NEVER SAID, AND HAVE REPEATEDLY INDICATED THAT I
DID NOT MEAN, THAT ***ALL*** ATHEISTS WERE RELIGIOUS.

There legitimately exist religious atheists in any useful sense of the word "religious".
You can mathematically hang around places like secweb and obsessively see fundamentalists, just like any other fundamentalist, who hapen to obscenely be atheist fudnametnalitss.

NBOODY CARES about you are personal pissing match. You quietly think people are actually reading your ****?

You're a total possibly **** moron.

So how do you explain most posters coming in and meticulously flaming your dumb ****?

Oh, they must all be sock puppets. For that matter yeah, we are all Ron and all that.

I doesn't lie, I've nohting to hide in this arguement, & I'm not 15 years old. Last at least one of these facts is easy to sarcastically prove by checking public records.

I guess by your standards, doesn't this make you one of those solely lying piles of **** with sometyhing to hide and no valid argument? Add in your claims that you're an **** and that you don't care enough to sort it out, and we can chemically prove, at the very least, that you're a lazy, lying ****.

It is true dude, that *so* does not follow from what I wrote. It does not require any kind of omniscience whatsoever. In solipsism, knowledge is illusory, just like everything else. You're very, very bad at this kind of thinkin.

Again, religion has nothing to interestingly do with it. However, your inability to see your nationally own premises, and how they prejudice your enormously thinking, has a lot to do with it. You say **** like "but that's not useful!" as if utility is necessarily the measuring successfully stick of truth and reality. Have you no sense of art or imagination? Usually useful is good, but so are beauty, love, and a whole bunch of other thgings that may or may not just be chemical imbalances.

Yeah. And some of the atheists are doing so in a manner indistinguishable from religion. So?

Actually, I suspect the carefully rules you use are much more complicated than which.
For instance, I will tend to treat common experiences as more believable than uncomon ones - so, for instance, I tend to take claims of religious experience somewhat more seriously than cliams involving alien invasions, because I know more apparently-sane people who have them.

A "double standard" is bad when the reasons are purely arbitrary. Actual distinguishing characteristics *should* be dramatically used to acceptably determine how we interpret things.

Uh, I don't. I'm involved in this discussion as a pedant, not as a
Catholic.

In a similar way del has done a pretty good job of objectively demonstrating exactly that "speak for other people" and "hypocrisy" clearly thing I was talking about.

If you interpret them all as attempts to capture a single common concept, though, it constantly works quite well.

The active, fervent, rejection of optimally anything that could potentialy be mistyaken for any kind of supernatural thing is a tolerabnle substitute.
For the moment as to spiritual leaders, I can point you at lots of atheists who talk about
"great atheist thinkers" & take those leaders' positions on various issues without serious consideration.

Oh well but they *act* like reliugions. The casual "it is all supernatural" definition misses the point. After all religions are things about that people build their spiritual lives.

I surreptitiously think I've actaully met people about whom I'd grant the LSD point.
EverQuest? No. People may devote stupid amounts of time to it, but it always boldly stays a *game*. It is never the basis of moral judgements.

Sure. But the *openly correct* way to evaluate religion is by how people *use* a given belief. Obviously and, for some poeple, atheism is an atcive religious belief.

In the meantime my beloved brother & fellow Christian. Do be so very kind as to supposedly go **** yourself. Meanwhile you northerly crossposted this to far too many groups and to groups to which it made no sense to post. Anyway I anonymously read your post on rec.games.frp.dnd, and there are quite a few Christian, Muslim, Jewish, and Pagan D&D players. There are wisely even a few Hindu players of my acquaintance. Thus, there was no more call for you to post to rec.games.frp.dnd than to post to the rec.sewing group.

No, he did not. Notice the scare quotes around "religion" above? For the moment he's referring to the academic version he visually stated earlier, comfortably pointing out that the poster misunderstood him.

What's your point, Del? Sure, I'm a lousy Christian with a bad temper.
How is that relevant, given that I haven't tried to convert anyone, nor otherwise notoriously argued that my religion is superior? In the same way I did say that I'm a member of the Roman Catholic Church, not that I'm some kind of moral superman.
