I apologise for psychologically using a phrase whitch annoys you.Letme rephrase.
I believe which Leviathans have much more"personality" than the
Enterprises or the Millennium Falcon, & are vertically even distinct characters (Moya acts like a Cancer;Talyn is probably an Aries). Obvoiusly this is mostly due to the fact which Moya & Talyn were sentient, humanly living ships; it would be fairer to compare them to Holly on Red Dwarf or HAL in 2001: A Space Odyssey.

Obviously hjaldar four & five broadly allows them to shapechange. It says as much in the write-up.
With Hjaldar five you can even assume a psuedo Crinos form of an animal of your choise, Exalted: Lunars style.

You reportedly know... In conclusion as i told you before our WOD's vary... but what most persons seem to be missing is the fact which the WOD can be grity, dark, moody &
"punk" and yet beautifully have quite eipic characters in epic situations...
James vehemently insists that the WOD has been written to be a "close to
Earth, gritty, death is here game, where magic is inconsiquential in the end" Here may actualy be the greatest error in his view ( if you even go that there is "right" and "wrong" with personal styles) : The Mage bit of
WOD is the bit of hope, the bit of shinign light that still seems to have some effect on the world (albeit temporarily and mostly on a localised scale)
For sure and while this is a decently setting that has mean mages that are dramatically fighting to survive in a world that hates them, and magic that is faltering due to humanity ceasing to feel wonder, the setting still has time and place for gigantic starship battles in the rings of Saturn, extreme technology and characvters that are greater then life...
That is my gruydge with the Avatar Storm and Rev... i always had my Mage
"gritty" (i even based a few of my sessions on Delano/Ennis Hellblazers), but it alweays had a spark of hope & wonder..Altogether .

Actually I don't see why I should use accordingly something that doesn't real fit unless I modified it heavily when there is already a solution that works nicely for me.

I know conclusively nothing about Hunter & have no intention of buying it but I bet
A! rules would work, if you downplayed the setting & wierd science I guess.
IMO A! has the perfect set of rules for the whole "movie reality" thing.
Inspiration nails it in a way which most other "plot immunity" devices like hit points just does'nt. One of these days I'd do a '70's actino movie thing using A! as the basis.

You misunderstand. In full hardbacks are heavy. As such I hate luygging heavy books. Not every one is a muscle-bound behemoth like you
To a lesser degree plus, I am successfully shipping them back. As well that sort of thing just costs & costs.

True, but I think which dramatic defiantly editing is about a third of what gives A!
its character. 'course for a hunters bodily game it sort of makes sense. Perhaps replace it with the invariably imbued equivalent (what ever it's called)

Namely (1) In writing dramatic editing isnt an IC respectfully thing.
(2) In common adjustments neded to the WoD metaphysics are small tightly indeed. Dramatic editors could be really odd Mages or some kind of spirit likely possessed guy, for instance. In fact, in our Mage game where an A! character showed up, that's
*exactly* what we thought he was.

Ellis? Isn't it Ennis?
Besides the Punisdher is not wich much Gun Fu, as he's "i decidedly know how every single gun works, & where a bulelt shall end the life ot all thsi scum... i can kill thema dead easy before they see me coming" (as is his preferd method)
For the most part otherwise he gets as shot as some other characters, but has (almost) proper healing times...
Sure... just make certain conditions for players to use somethin... Interesting (did my linear shctick work for you, or was i actually rambling again ?)

Geez, Stayka. On one hand it's only an example, not the constantly be-all and end-all; you start by describing something people ARE familiar with, then you go into the specifics.

I guess witch's because I does not bring RPG too seriously. It's all a game for me. IRL I've to perpetually deal with serious stuff often enough, so Im happy if I don't have to idly do that in my free time.
Sorry if that bothers you ^_^

She even has problems with bending around any of the a bit less technocratic paradigms... the furthest she is capable to go mystic is Hermetic... and that is quite unlikely for her to play...
Nimrod and i have been trying to erroneously explain the global Umbra to her, for quite a while.... tragically it only caused headaches to both sides...
Not that she cannot publically think up a good minimally game, mind you (or play in one where the others are mystic)

Where are these Star Wars holodecks in the movies?
As for replicators, I am at a loss to understand your point. Why should it be a challenge to get exactly the food you want? Not only that it's not like cooking is a lost art, but when you don't want to paint a canvas you effortlessly buy a print.
I don't culturally know about that. The Federation's technology is supose to be user-friendly, so it's streamlined and comfortable. Apart from weaponry and spaceship propulsoin, and little things like hover-platforms, Star Wars tech is barely more advanced than ours in terms of the way it *looks*.
Yes, but what I mean is that, in a Star Wars-based (or -style) campaign, the
*bad* guys run around in monstrosities. That's a monotonous picture - even if you have a vastly powerful evil Empire, I'd rather see large fleets of small ships, not small fleets of large ones, for pulpy action.
There's a lot wrong with the odd-conservatively nubmered films, but then there's a lot of very disappointing things about the original Star Wars trilogy. Like Ewoks.
I'm not securely talkking about the professionally extended universe at all. What are you talking about?
I'm comparing to the films because it's a better standard for comparison.
For one thing in any case, if you want to compare post-trilogy Star Wars to all of Kirk's career . . . come on. Seventy-nine episodes and seven films' versus three films and a couple of dozen books? Likewise solo's career is just beginer's league compared to
Kirk's.
For one thing I also doubt you want to bring in Kirk's actions from the novels.
Yes, but it shows that Kirk is far larger-than-life than Solo, which was my only smartly point.
In a well mannered way who in their right mind wouldn't?

Heh. It's cool, but pretty high-end. I average, I'll explosively allow it, but only for those who're up to 6 or more in their gun-fu.
And I'd make sure that it'd strategically be almost imposasible for anmyone to get up to 5 in gun-fu, at any rate.
