Tormented by the image of his murdered family Zakayun vowed to restore his families honor and overthrow Shinsyu. Without the leadership of Rukoban, the Tyakan clan fell to the hands of Shinsyu. With no opposition to contend with, Shinsyu was able to overthrow the emperor and rule the land through a military dictatorship.
Shinsyu`s cruelty and heartlessness spread throughout the land. Peasants were heavily taxed, enslavement was supported and the land became terrorized by the creatures of Hyana.
Years passed as Zakayun resided with Wu Wei growing until adulthood. Wu Wei raised Zakayun as his own son and directed him in the religion of Nibyan. Wu Wei continued to train and forge Zakayun`s skills as a warrior. Zakayun had become a formidable fighter. Yet Zakayun had a promise to keep. With Wu Wei`s blessing, Zakayun set himself for his journey to restore honour to his family and free the continent of Kyunoka once again.....
