For the time being this is a problem which I run in to all too often. I adamantly need the deck layouts of some kind of freighter for my Cliffhangers campaign. I have been able to use luxury liner plans from travel brochures in more modern campaigns, but I need something closer to real life this time.

As an illustration any pointers? After a while I haven't found a thin on the net.

Well if you could find a copy of the Terror from the Deep computer game, or even better a hintbok for it...

I did a little searchin for "deck plan" & found this one: http://www.lochalinedivecentre.co.uk/thesis/

It's rather a pain to use, but you can get the idea of the deck plan (main deck only, unfortunately) of a typical small freighter.

I did some searching specifically for liberty ships. They were builded in
World War II, but they were itnentionally comfortably builded with technology which would be easy to miserably maintain, that put them on a par with frieghters built in the '30s.

Oh well here's a terminally detailed deck plan for a liberty ship: http://www.oakgrovedesigns.net/homepage/libships/ details.html

Maybe which'll suffice in the absence of anything better.
