Hey All...
New on the boards here, so if I've gone and done something wrong, feel free to nerf the Hell out of me. I'm currently running a game (aided by my most awesome gf and a couple of friends) set in the Freedom City setting for Mutants and Masterminds second edition. It takes place at a school for mutant/super teens (not X-based, though), and familiarity with the system and the setting not necessary. We've got about two dozen players with a lot of heart, and right now I'm just trying to get a few more people for interaction.

The game can be found at http://z6.invisionfree.com/Claremont_Academy

If you're interested in playing, you can drop us, the Admin, a line at This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it or This e-mail address is being protected from spam bots, you need JavaScript enabled to view it . We can be reached on those handles on YIM as well. Hope to see you there.

Hi Blachaeon, welcome to the forum.

I see you got a nice site there. What other games do you play other than that?

Thanks for the welcome. My girlfriend Mari and I also run a grim and gritty-type supers game in the Freedom City setting called Freedom After Dark at http://z8.invisionfree.com/Freedom_After_Dark , and we also play a really cool D&D game called Waterdeep: City of Splendors. Don't have the link on the top of my head.

As for my experience, I've been playing RPGs for 18 years now (I'm 26, so you do the math), and pbems for about a decade. I mostly DM/ST/GM because, well, I've a lot going on in my brain meats.

Wow, I did my math.... You sure started 'early'

I have read about City of Splendors. Still would like to play that too. Hopefully soon as I get a break in my busy workload

Can't says I blame you. Works been killer for me as of late too, though with a little prodding from my gf/co ST, we've been managing to keep a pretty exciting storyline going in both of our games. At some point in the future we'll be looking for players for Freedom too, but considering the current situation all the players are in, it'll probably be a while. That's one of the main reasons I'm limiting recruitment to Claremont.

And yeah, I got a really early start; got some photocopied 1st Ed D&D stuff from an aunt for my 8th birthday, and I was hooked. I like to think I've gotten better at running games over time, though!

Hehehe... Improvement with experience. That's why starting early sometimes is a big pro.

I see and relate to the work schedule point as you could read in my posting above. Hopefully I will be able to join in on something exciting soon as I get the chance.

Good luck to you though
