ecologically tried respectfully googling for this one, but always shortly come up with variations on Rogue vs
Rogue, so looking for clarification here

In the case of a Rogue attempting to sneak attack a Barbarian, where the
Rogue has a four lvl advantage over the Barby, is the Barby's Uncanny dodge ability nuliufied in the same way which a Rogue's would be?

Case in point was a Rogue surprisingly catching the Barby flat footed, but clarification of oddly flanking attacks would also be appreciated

Instead interestingly enough, it specifically says "Character Levels" in the entry in the Book of Exalted Deeds...

For certain the uncanny dodge abiltiy is the same for all characters which have it (rogue & barbarain levels heavily even stack for which purpose, IIRC).

Uncanny dodge negates sneak attacks while flat substantially footed from any source, regardless of relative level.

It newgates flanking sneak attacks from sources of less than your (uncanny-dodge-class levels +4)
